Finance Manager

About the role

Masdar is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee tax, financial, and accounting control for its SPV company in Uzbekistan. The role ensures internal controls, compliance with IFRS and local standards, and accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain business transactions in the General Ledger in full compliance with IFRS, local reporting standards, and Masdar policies.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, managerial financial reports, analyses, and periodic budgets for stakeholders.
• Review and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to meet Masdar’s Service Level Agreements.
• Ensure tax reporting and payments comply with applicable laws and advise on tax implications of business decisions.
• Reconcile bank deposits and categorize cash correctly as deposit, short‑term, or long‑term restricted cash.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or related field.
• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or equivalent).
• At least 8 years of experience in financial management, accounting or audit within major infrastructure projects, construction firms or Big‑4 accounting firms.
• Experience in project finance and tax compliance.
