Senior Manager, Corporate Finance (Tashkent)

About the role

PwC is looking for an accomplished, entrepreneurial corporate finance professional to join its leadership team as a Senior Manager in the Tashkent office. The role has a dual purpose: covering the market and acting as a relationship manager for key clients in Uzbekistan while proactively originating new business, and ensuring excellence in deal execution.

Key responsibilities

• Originate business by engaging CEOs, CFOs, private equity firms and family business owners, building a pipeline of ideas and representing the firm in the market
• Monitor sectors of focus, generate thought leadership and collaborate internally to pitch M&A and debt advisory ideas
• Lead execution of complex M&A and debt advisory transactions, coordinating corporate finance, valuation, legal and tax teams and managing deliverables such as valuations, teasers, information memorandums and models
• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level professionals, providing on-the-job training and career guidance

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking or a related corporate finance function
• Debt advisory experience including funding strategy and DCM transactions from origination through execution
• Proven track record of leading complex transactions and originating mandates
• Advanced degree in finance, business, economics or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
• Absolutely fluent in English and Russian; another language is a big plus
