Senior Manager – Strategy & Financial Services

About the role

As a Senior Manager in Strategy & Financial Services at PwC, you will lead high‑impact engagements for banking, insurance and fintech clients. You will own the full project life‑cycle, from diagnosis and strategy formulation to execution planning, helping organisations transform for sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple client engagements in the financial services sector, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and stakeholder alignment.
• Diagnose client challenges using structured problem‑solving, quantitative analysis, market research and executive interviews.
• Develop strategic options and translate them into actionable roadmaps, including growth strategies, new business models and digital innovation.
• Support execution planning by designing operating models, organisational structures, processes, metrics and change‑management plans.
• Serve as a trusted adviser to senior executives, presenting findings and steering decision‑making.
• Coach and develop a team of consultants and analysts, providing feedback and ensuring quality.
• Contribute to business development through market mapping, proposal writing and client pitching.
• Build knowledge assets such as tools, frameworks and thought‑leadership pieces.

Required profile

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• 8+ years of experience in management consulting or strategic roles within financial services, fintech or related institutions.
• Deep domain knowledge in at least one financial services vertical (banking, insurance, payments, fintech).
• Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and delivering measurable impact.
