Senior Consultant - Risk Management (Internal Audit)

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant in Risk Management within its Internal Audit practice in Tashkent. The role covers risk-based audits, control testing and the preparation of audit reports, while also supporting business development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based internal audits across various business processes
• Test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
• Help clients assess gaps against leading frameworks such as COSO and IIA
• Develop recommendations to strengthen governance, risk management and the control environment
• Prepare working papers, audit findings and client-ready reports
• Take part in walkthroughs, interviews and control validation sessions
• Help build or improve risk and control matrices, policies and procedures
• Work with cross-functional teams and guide junior staff
• Contribute to proposals, presentations and other business development activities

Required profile

• 2-4+ years of experience in internal audit, internal controls or risk management
• Strong knowledge of core business processes such as procurement, HR and payroll, finance, sales and treasury
• Experience with walkthroughs, control testing and audit documentation
• Familiarity with COSO frameworks and Internal Audit Standards
• Fluent English and Russian
• University degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field
• CIA, ACCA or similar certification (completed or in progress) is an advantage
