National Focal Point – Regional Youth Network for Central Asia (Consultant)

About the role

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) seeks an Individual Contractor to serve as the National Focal Point for the Regional Youth Network for Central Asia (RYNCA). The role provides overall coordination, administrative support, and outreach to strengthen youth‑led drug prevention initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Disseminate RYNCA results through informational materials and maintain outreach distribution lists.
• Coordinate the Friends in Focus Programme, keeping correspondence logs and administrative records.
• Update and maintain the RYNCA membership database with new registrations.
• Organise logistics for youth consultations and round‑tables, including participant lists, scheduling, and material preparation for scheduled events.
• Provide administrative support by compiling background data, mapping matrices, and summaries for national and regional youth‑driven activities.
• Enhance RYNCA visibility on social media (Facebook, Instagram, website) and increase followers by at least 25%.
• Prepare and submit mid‑term and final progress reports with measurable results and recommendations.

Required profile

• Experience in coordinating youth programmes, especially in drug prevention or public health contexts.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with a track record of managing databases and event logistics.
• Familiarity with UN or international development environments is advantageous.
