Head of Omnichannel Development Directorate

About the role

TechBiz Global is seeking a Head of Omnichannel Development Directorate to lead the design and delivery of seamless digital banking experiences. You will shape the strategy, standards, and technology roadmap for omnichannel solutions across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce software development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation to foster a high‑quality engineering culture.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute release cycles, working closely with development, QA, support, and business teams to minimise risk.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate modern technologies, leading migrations to new tech stacks and adding features to omnichannel platforms.
• Gather business requirements, co‑design architectural solutions, and translate them into technical implementations.
• Provide expertise in microservices, APIs, DevOps, containerisation, and scalable system design, with awareness of banking product constraints.
• Leverage experience with core banking systems and payment platforms (e.g., Tieto, UZCARD, HUMO) to ensure seamless payment integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven leadership in omnichannel digital banking, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of mobile apps, online platforms, and emerging digital‑banking trends.
• Ability to drive customer‑centric strategies and improve user experiences.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
