English Teacher – International School in Uzbekistan

About the role

Join a government‑backed national reform in Uzbekistan as an English Teacher for secondary students. You will work in historic Silk Road cities, delivering high‑impact lessons while acting as a cultural ambassador for the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 20 contact hours per week to Grades 9‑11 students.
• Lead weekly 2‑hour seminars to up‑skill local faculty.
• Organise and facilitate 6 hours of extracurricular immersion activities.

Required profile

• Native‑level English speaker with a passion for secondary education.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in TESOL, Linguistics, Education, or any field plus CELTA/TEFL/TESOL certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at secondary/high‑school level.
• Eager to live in Uzbekistan and engage in cultural immersion.

Required skills

• TESOL/TEFL teaching methodology.
• Classroom management for adolescent learners.
