Audit & Assurance Manager

About the role

At PwC in Tashkent, the Audit & Assurance Manager leads teams delivering independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls. The role ensures audits provide reasonable assurance that statements are free from material misstatement and that audit reports reflect the firm’s opinion.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, budget, execute and complete audit projects, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, leveraging their strengths to meet client expectations.
• Analyse system components and identify linkages to support risk and governance assessments.
• Partner with team leadership to maintain collective ownership of quality, timelines and deliverables.
• Address conflicts, conduct difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders, and escalate when necessary.
• Uphold professional and technical standards, firm code of conduct and independence requirements.
