Associate – Tax & Accounting Services

About the role

A career in our TRS practice, within Accounting and Corporate Tax services, provides the opportunity to support clients in meeting their accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and broader regulatory obligations. The role includes assisting with accounting and tax compliance processes, analysing financial information, communicating with clients and government authorities, and contributing to the timely delivery of client services.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation and review of tax returns, tax calculations, and statistical and financial reports.
• Preparation of payments.
• Support with tax registrations, deregistrations, and other regulatory compliance matters.
• Collection, review, and analysis of financial, accounting, and tax-related information.
• Accounting postings in 1C and other accounting platforms.
• Preparation of correspondence, applications, and submissions to tax authorities and other government bodies.
• Assistance with tax advisory projects, including tax research and legislative analysis.
• Communication with clients regarding information requests, deliverables, and project updates.
• Participation in client meetings and preparation of meeting notes and action items.
• Monitoring legislative developments and assessing their potential impact on clients.
• Coordination with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of client services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Uzbek tax and accounting regulations (advantage).
• Proficiency in English, Russian, and Uzbek (advantage).
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
