Senior Associate – Capital Markets & Treasury

About the role

As a Senior Associate in PwC’s Capital Markets & Treasury team in Tashkent, you will join a group of problem‑solvers who advise clients on complex transactions from strategy through execution. You will support transaction advisory, IPO readiness, and finance transformation projects while mentoring junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, SPOs and debt issuances, reviewing prospectuses and information memoranda.
• Participate in comfort‑letter procedures and prepare related documentation.
• Contribute to IPO readiness assessments and produce operational readiness reports.
• Collaborate with specialists across the firm to build multidisciplinary transaction teams.
• Support finance transformation initiatives such as treasury policy design, cash‑flow forecasting, and management reporting.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or IT from a leading university.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, ACT, FRM, SAP, 1C) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting under IAS/IFRS and understanding of IPO, bond and equity structures.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Interest in capital markets, treasury trends and emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Advanced user of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Proficient with the MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with AI‑based tools for task automation and data analysis.
• Advanced level of English.
