English Teacher – National Education Reform in Uzbekistan

About the role

Join a historic, government‑backed national reform in Uzbekistan as an English Teacher. You will work with secondary students (grades 9‑11) and help shape the next generation of leaders while experiencing life on the Silk Road.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 20 high‑impact contact hours per week to grades 9‑11.
• Lead weekly 2‑hour seminars to upskill local faculty.
• Facilitate 6 hours of extracurricular immersion activities.
• Collaborate with Ministry officials to support the national education reform.

Required profile

• Native‑level English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in TESOL, Linguistics, Education, or any field plus CELTA/TEFL/TESOL certification.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching English at the secondary/high‑school level.
• Energetic, culturally curious professional eager for immersion and nation‑building.

Required skills

• CELTA, TEFL or TESOL certification.
