About the role

Join a government‑backed national education reform in Uzbekistan as an English Teacher for secondary students (Grades 9‑11). You will deliver high‑impact lessons, mentor local faculty, and lead extracurricular immersion activities while living in historic Silk Road cities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 20 contact hours of English instruction per week to Grades 9‑11.
• Lead two‑hour weekly seminars to upskill local teachers.
• Facilitate six hours of extracurricular immersion activities.

Required profile

• Native‑level English speaker with a passion for secondary education.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in TESOL, Linguistics, Education, or any degree plus CELTA/TEFL/TESOL certification.
• Proven experience teaching English at the secondary/high‑school level.
• Energetic, culturally curious professional eager to contribute to nation‑building.
