Audit Manager

About the role

EY is looking for an Audit Manager to join its Audit team in Tashkent. As Audit Manager you will lead audit engagements for leading local and international clients across a variety of industries, manage engagement teams, oversee audit delivery, build strong client relationships and ensure work follows EY methodologies and professional standards. You will also help develop team members and contribute to the growth of the Audit practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements for local and international clients across many industries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client management and key stakeholders
• Oversee engagement planning, execution, risk assessment and overall project delivery
• Manage engagement teams, providing coaching, supervision and ongoing development support
• Review key audit deliverables and ensure compliance with EY methodologies and quality standards
• Monitor engagement progress, timelines and budgets
• Work closely with senior leadership and partners on client service
• Contribute to business development and the growth of the Audit practice

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• ACCA, CPA or another relevant professional qualification completed or in progress
• 5+ years of experience in external audit
• Proven experience leading audit engagements and managing teams
• Previous experience in a Big Four environment is a strong advantage

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Excellent client management, communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
