Deal Advisory Internship – Capital Markets Accounting

About the role

Join PwC's Deals team in Tashkent as an intern/trainee, supporting clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring projects. You will work on capital markets accounting advisory, helping clients navigate complex accounting and financial reporting issues related to transactions and transformational events.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing technical accounting and financial reporting analyses for deal transactions.
• Support the team in researching and applying professional standards and PwC guidance.
• Gather data from multiple sources, analyse facts, and identify patterns relevant to client engagements.
• Contribute to client deliverables, ensuring quality and value‑add throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in team discussions, ask clarifying questions, and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university program related to finance, accounting, economics, or a similar field.
• Demonstrates curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to take ownership of learning.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and an openness to diverse perspectives.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to research and interpret technical standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and presentation.
