Business Development Executive - CIS (Uzbekistan)

About the role

Deriv, which processes more than $700B in monthly trading volume, is hiring a Business Development Executive for its Global Partnerships function in Uzbekistan. The role covers recruiting and activating high-value partners such as introducing brokers, affiliates, fintech partners and payment providers, and mentoring newer executives. It reports to the Global Partnerships Senior Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and grow high-value IBs, affiliates, referral partners, fintech partners, payment providers and strategic alliances across the Uzbek market, including the most complex accounts.
• Own the full lifecycle of a larger, more complex portfolio, from onboarding through to revenue performance, and proactively fix underperforming accounts.
• Negotiate commission structures, volume targets and support agreements, and defend the unit economics of deals to leadership.
• Work with Compliance on KYC and due diligence for new partners, acting as the first filter in a regulated market.
• Use AI-enabled onboarding and lifecycle systems, and flag workflow gaps to product and engineering.
• Mentor newer Business Development Executives and represent Deriv at conferences, partner events and expos.

Required profile

• At least three years in business development, partnerships or sales within online trading, FX/CFD, cryptocurrencies, fintech or a comparable performance-driven digital ecosystem, with closed deals.
• Fluency in English and Uzbek; Russian is strongly preferred, other CIS languages are an advantage.
• Relevant degree in business, economics or finance, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of the Uzbek market and its customer acquisition channels, with an activatable network.
• Previous experience as a Business Development Manager or Country Manager in Uzbekistan, or across other CIS markets, is an advantage.
