Senior Programme Support Associate, G-6

About the role

The Senior Programme Support Associate works under the direct supervision of the Chief of Mission in Uzbekistan. The incumbent supports communication with donors, UN agencies and international organisations, contributes to strategic planning and coordination, and provides programme support for the development, endorsement and reporting of projects within the Mission.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate communication and liaison with donors, UN agencies and other stakeholders on migration‑related programmes.
• Assist in the preparation, endorsement and reporting of project proposals, concept notes and donor reports.
• Support strategic planning and coordination processes across relevant IOM units and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related field (or high school diploma with six years of relevant experience).
• Proven experience liaising with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and working with migrants, refugees or other vulnerable groups.
• Fluency in English and Uzbek (oral and written) with working knowledge of Russian.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with information management systems.
