Senior Manager / Director, Data & AI Consulting – Uzbekistan

About the role

EY Consulting is expanding its Data & AI capability across the Central Asia & Caucasus (CCA) cluster, with a strategic focus on Uzbekistan as a key growth market. It is seeking an experienced Senior Manager/Director to establish and lead the Data & AI practice in Uzbekistan, shaping the offering, driving go-to-market strategy and delivering large-scale transformation programs. Candidates based in Uzbekistan are welcome, as are international candidates willing to relocate to Tashkent, with full relocation support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the build and development of the Data & AI capability in Uzbekistan, define and run the go-to-market strategy and build a high-performing local team
• Deliver complex Data & AI programs end-to-end, acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients and ensuring quality delivery and risk management
• Drive business development, build pipelines and client relationships and identify new opportunities across key sectors
• Define scalable, cloud-first data platform architectures and oversee data platforms (data lakes, DWH, lakehouse), AI / machine learning solutions and data governance frameworks
• Work with regional and global EY teams to bring leading practices to the CCA market

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering
• 5-10+ years of experience in Data & AI / technology consulting
• Proven track record of leading data/AI transformation programs, defining data strategies and managing senior client relationships
• Experience leading teams and complex engagements, and strong technical understanding of modern data ecosystems
• Fluent English and Russian
• Ideally: experience in Central Asia or emerging markets, Microsoft Azure Data & AI stack, relevant certifications (Azure, AWS) and Agile delivery experience
